Strategic Planning

Message from the Board of Trustees

Following the initial posting explaining the Strategic Plan, many individuals expressed an interest in both the plan and the process.  In this post, we would like to provide an update of the work done so far.

The Board of Trustees and the Elected Supreme Line Officers met in Illinois prior to the start of the Supreme Leadership weekend. The goals were to review the Strategic Plan, prioritize the goals and objectives within the plan, and finalize the selection of those who would oversee these initiatives.

To assure that all geographical areas of our JDI world would be represented, those already established YPP regions became the geographic regions for selecting those persons who would serve on the Strategic Planning Initiatives Group (SPIG).  The following individuals have accepted and/or volunteered from their region and we are excited to share this information with you.

They are:

US Pacific Northwest:   Kris Aanderud  (OR)
US Pacific Southwest:  Marcy Jaqua  (CA)
US Intermountain West:  Leslee Haylett (MT)
US Southwest:  Donna Naessig  (AZ)
US Midwest:  Darrell Vierling (IL)
US / CAN Great Lakes:  Cindy Provencher  (WI)
US Great Plains:  Yet to be determined
US Eastern:  Don Strehle (VA)
CAN:  Dianne Sears-Graham (BC)
AUS:  Ian Milne (QLD)
Brazil:  Yet to be determined
Philippines:  Yet to be determined

Representatives from various committees:

Finance:   Grayson Koogle (VA)
Leadership:  Denise Elwood

Donna Naessig will oversee the SPIG.  She will be reporting to the Board on behalf of this group.  The next step is to schedule conference calls with the members of the SPIG to discuss with them their roles and responsibilities.  We will be working to fill the vacant positions in the coming weeks.  If you are interested and you are from one of these areas – please contact BOT member Jeanine Hinman.

The plan is now ready for distribution to the membership and we are hoping that it will generate some interest for many of you.  As stated in our first post, this plan will be a constant work in progress, and as a living and breathing document, it will evolve as the process moves forward.  We ask your continued patience and support as we work to move Job’s Daughters forward.
